About
The story behind
every recipe.
Hi, I'm Alex Chen — a senior product manager. For the past eight years, I've been shipping products at some of the fastest-moving tech companies. My days are filled with sprint planning, cross-functional syncs, and the relentless pursuit of product-market fit.
But here's the thing nobody tells you about the tech grind: eating well is hard. After a 12-hour day of back-to-back meetings and fighting through a long commute, the last thing I want is to follow a 45-minute recipe with 23 ingredients I don't have.
So I did what any product person would do — I applied MVP thinking to my kitchen. I asked myself: what's the minimum viable recipe that delivers maximum nutritional value with the least friction? What's the 80/20 of cooking?
That question became Nourished. Every recipe here is engineered around three constraints:
- / High protein, low complexity — because gains shouldn't require a culinary degree.
- / Under 20 minutes, under 5 ingredients — real constraints, real efficiency.
- / Zero culinary jargon — instructions so clear, a first-time cook can nail it.
Nourished is not another food blog drowning you in life stories before the recipe. It's a curated, distraction-free library of meals that respect your time and your body. Think of it as the Notion of cooking — structured, minimal, and ruthlessly efficient.
Whether you're a fellow PM burning out in a WeWork, a developer fueling up between deploys, or anyone who believes dinner shouldn't be a second job — this is for you.
